Acorn Adoption Agency, part 2

Wow! I guess people really like my acorns because...(Mum, play the drumroll!) WE BEAT OUR GOAL!! Pip pip hooray!
At first, I didn't believe Mum when she told me. I was busy collecting more acorns to spruce up for adoption. Maybe I'm a working type dog? Or hunting breed? Unless hunting doesn't apply to acorns....I think it should.
But really, a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped! It makes this humble little pup feel proud she could raise money to help other pups in need. Who knows what else I could accomplish, I'm feeling inspired now! Maybe I'll run for president! President Pippa....has a nice ring to it.

With love, wags and wiggles,
Pippa

P.S. Although we reached our fundraiser goal, you can still donate to the Humane Society. Every extra dollar will help doggies and kitties in need! Plus, I still have a ton of acorns left over that need adopting....

Bark in the Park: Coming Soon

Oooo, I'm so excited! Mum's been telling me all about this thing called Bark in the Park. Apparently my brother and sister have been there before a bunch of times and they said it was a ton of fun.
They got to meet other dogs, get some treats, have a family picture taken, get some treats, go on a walk, and- did I mention- GET SOME TREATS! This sounds like a Pippa Puppy Paradise! But now Mum is thinking about dressing me up for the The Great American Marvelous Mutt Show Beauty Pagent. I'm not sure how I feel about that part, but Mum keeps trying to bribe me with treats...it might be working. She can't decide on a costume though.

Maybe Pippi Longstockings? Our names are similar, but I'm not sure how I feel about those socks.
How about a cute little bee? I'll buzz all over the place!
So many options! Well, I don't know about Mum but I'm going to at least go pick out which collar to wear!

With love, wags and wiggles,

Pippa

Acorn Adoption Agency

Today is the launch day of my Acorn Adoption Agency! It's been in the works for awhile and I've been very busy collecting acorns over the last few weeks. It's actually one of my favorite hobbies to do on walks.
Mum was really nice and helped me spruce them up. The acorns need to look their best in order to be adopted right? Well look how great they cleaned up! Beautiful!

So now my Acorn Adoption Agency is ready for business. Here's how it works: donate here to the local Humane Society. All of your money will go to helping other doggies who are still looking for their forever homes. I know what its like to sit in a shelter and wait for a new mum or dad, and it's not fun! I'm so happy to have my mum now, and I want to help all the other doggies find their mums and dads!

When you donate, I'll help pick out an acorn buddy for you! How about that shiny orange one, or maybe a nice bright green? So many choices! Then I'll personally come and deliver it to you, because it's nice to meet the people who are adopting the acorns. (Mum said I have to add a disclaimer that drop-offs must be arranged and approved by her. I guess since she's the driver and all.)

So, won't you help the other doggies AND get a fancy new acorn? It's a win/win deal! My goal is to raise $300 by the beginning of October. I know, that's a lot of money and could buy a LOT of dog bones. But I think shelter doggies need it more than I need another bone.

On behalf of the shelter doggies, the acorns, and me, hanks for helping the Humane Society! Every bit helps! I can't wait to start delivering acorns and meet all these great people!

Doomsday

...or bath day, as Mum calls it. My siblings knew what it meant when they heard the sound of running water and wisely went to look for hiding spots. But failed to mention it to me. TRAITORS!
My pathetic look garnished no mercy from Mum. But she did take plenty of pictures to document it all.
NOT COOL, MUM. She says I smell pretty now. Pretty awful if you ask me. I'm going to go roll around outside as soon as she opens the door.

As for Lily and Oliver, they suffered the same fate.

Well, at least they look as miserable as me.

With (extra clean) love, wags and wiggles!

Hi!

Hi, I'm Pippa!
I look kind of sassy in this picture...that's because I am! But Mum still loves me. Sometimes I even punch her in the face and she still loves me!
I only do that when I'm sleeping though. Or on accident 'cause I'm not very good at seeing. The vet says I'm visually impaired which sounds really fancy but doesn't mean anything to me. I just keep living life the best I can! Just with a few extra bumps along the way.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. I have to go take a nap now because I've been very busy barking for the last hour and now I'm sleepy. See you soon!

With love, wags and wiggles,

Pippa
